Busy, Busy Boy

Yesterday was a long day, but a great day! I had one of my most favorite Trenton moments to date. So, I have decided to try and tell the story and put pictures of how busy he is now. He is very independent, but very attached to Mommy. Every morning it is "Mommy, My Mommy, or nomommy, nomommy, no."But, here is what happened yesterday...I went to pick Trenton up from school and the teacher was about to put him in time out. Trenton saw me and looked down. He knew I would not be happy. He had taken another childs cup, put the milk in his mouth, and spit it all out. He had milk all down his shirt and on his chin. I said, "Trenton did you spit milk?" He ran to me and hugged me. I said, "Trenton, you need to say you are sorry." He put his head down and in the most quiet voice said, "sorry." (insert precious baby voice) It took everything I had not to sweep him up and love on him, but I said, "Trenton, you need to go apologize to Ms. Sarah." Off he ran and he hugged her and got down and shouted, "bye bye" and ran to the door. I stinkin' love this child.

It gets better too. Wes had to close, so Trenton and I did the nightly routine alone. He ate and we got in the bath. He was in the tub trying to open his marker (tub friendly marker) and he started whining. Trenton whines when he wants something because he still doesn't know words. I said, "Trenton, you need to say, help please." So, he looks at me very seriously and says, "he peas". I ate it up. From then on, he would say, "he peas" all evening. I loved it. Then, we played with the tool box that Aunt Lee Lee gave him (he LOVES it!) and he looked at me and said "night night" and his little fanny put his toys up and scurried up the stairs. Just then, his Daddy came home and got to put him to bed.

Trenton had so much fun eating his cupcake and playing in the icing....

Trenton loves McDonald's sweet tea...almost as much as Mommy and Daddy.

He was exhausted this weekend after he stayed up late playing 2 nights in a row.

Trenton had such a good Easter with his Elmo basket. He was one happy boy just carrying Elmo around.

I love this picture...Trenton and Wes were watching the truck race together and Trenton was telling the trucks to Go, Go, Go.

So, Trenton is getting so much busier and he is learning words. He understands so much more than he can say. He puts his clothes in the dirty clothes hamper, he knows when Mommy says time out what it means, he is such my little miracle!
