Ellis Family Weekend!

This past weekend and this week are pretty exciting weeks for the Ellis Family! On a side note, I blogged on Friday,but the computer ate it and I was not in the mood to retype! SORRY!

Friday:
I got to leave work early because of snow! Now this is exciting (and there are pictures) because not only is it Trenton's first snow (downplay because he could care less) but also it is Baxter's first snow!!!!! TRULY the most amazing event I have witnessed was Baxter's anticipation and love of the snow. Wes, being the thoughtful husband he is, knows that I treat Baxter like he is a child and he waited until I got home from work to let him out. I get there and Baxter gets to go out and he LOVES it! Wes and I would throw snowballs at him and he would miss them and go running to find the actual ball of snow. Unfortunately, he never found it. He would run laps around the yard, bury his nose in the snow, throw the snow up and catch it. He LOVED it!

Before we went to bed, Trenton had to see the snow. Now, ya'll know my child cannot stay out of the hospital, so we went out in it very cautiously! He was wrapped in 2 blankets, had on one of his PRECIOUS new hats from Deann (THANK YOU!!!), and a blanket around his precious little face. he could breathe, but we have some pictures of his eyes in the snow. For about 5 minutes Trenton enjoyed the snow.

Trenton went to bed and then we played the night with Baxter! LOVED IT!

That evening I made 2 meals! I worked hard on dinner and then made a HUGE pot of chili for the weekend. It was intense, but yummy!

We did enjoy our early anniversary song from some of our dear friends. They were a little early, but at least they were thinking of us! Thanks Bee & JP!

Saturday
I had class from 11-4:30, so it was Daddy/Trenton day! Ansley, niece, not Boatman, had a birthday, so Wes went over to celebrate with the family. They had a great time at lunch and then Trenton behaved all day. He slept a lot and enjoyed his time. Every time Meme would go to take a picture, precious Trenton would stick his tongue out.

I got home from class STARVING! I ate an early dinner, then wes ate, Trenton, still sleepy, slept the night away.

Sunday
We didn't go to Church since for some reason that is hospital day for Trenton. We stayed at home and Trenton got up early. After Church, Sir came over to visit. He fed Trenton and then had to go to his house to let the dogs out. Wes and I got dressed and headed out to price tile backsplash and laminate floors. **Our carpet is gross, and we want to change it....donations accepted**** Trenton behaved for a while. We then went to visit the parents. Trenton had a great Valentines Day! From us he got money in his savings! From Nameless and Sir he got an outfit. Ansley and Adam also helped pick him out an outfit. From Meme and Pop he got a stuffed bear. From his Granny he got money! From his Aunt Nana and Uncle Hal he got a card. Trenton is SPOILED!

Monday
I am off and Trenton goes to daycare for a while. This day was HUGE for our family because Wes joined the Church! Now, he has been a member of churches before, but now our family has a Church home! We are so excited and I am excited for Wes. Now, I have to plan a baptism. Maybe March, but probably May. We will see!

Tuesday
HAPPY ANNIVERSARY, WES! I know you read this, so know that I love you and I am excited about date night tonight when Sir keeps Trenton.
Pray for Sir and Trenton, Sir taught him how to do a back flip this weekend. UH OH Nameless does not like it.
