Trenton wakes up nice and early to let us know it is time to eat and we are going to get moving! It worked out well. I showered, Wes showered, Trenton ate and Ansley woke up. Then we were on our way to Pfunky Griddle. This was my request for breakfast because I have not been there and always wanted to go. You make your food in front of you (on a griddle). I had wheat pancakes with M&M's...yummy! Wes had regular pancakes with Strawberries and Ansley had french toast. I know ya'll were interested in that. Trenton LOVED this place. He was so good the entire time. He is getting to the age where he likes to "talk" so he would tell us all about his morning and just watch the griddle. I decided I would make Trenton a T pancake (like my Mom used to do) and it was pretty miserable, but wes decided to show me up. It just proved to me that he will be the one making the pancakes in the morning.

Trenton did enjoy playing with the cup my M&M's came in...
The rest of the day was spent shopping and playing before Wes and I went out on our date to Cheesecake Factory while Ansley kept Trenton. We went early to avoid the wait and I didn't even eat cheesecake! I had a headache and was completely exhausted from the trip and the day, so it was not a great time. Also, Trenton got a ton of stuff, while I bought one shirt and Wes bought 2 pairs of khakis.Saturday:
It was terrible weather in Nashville...tornadoes, actually. We met Ansley's friend Chris at Puffy Muffin and ate b'fast before setting out to Babies R Us to start their registries. Trenton and Wes bowed out before the registry fun. Not a lot of pictures from that adventure. We were going to have a play date with Ansley's friend Jenna, but the tornadoes did not make for safe travel to Brentwood, so we just hung out around the house before going to Target (where I bought the most amazing toy for Trenton to attach to his car seat - worth the $10!!!) and dinner at the Loveless! Please know the following pictures are from the entire trip. We didn't take Trenton out of his seat because it was not the easiet thing. Here are some family pictures....

When asked where we were, Trenton pointed to the part of the Kiddie Menu that said Loveless...he is a genius.
Sunday:
ADAM CAME!!! He rolled into town around 6:00 and came home to see Trenton. I took a picture, not the best, sorry Adam, but I was glad he got to see Trenton!

Somebody feed this poor baby!

Daddy and Trenton playing at the outlets! Just giving Trenton some time to stretch!
Trenton and Mommy playing before hitting the road again!
Driving on down the road, we stop for lunch around Atlanta and Trenton is just tired of being in the car, being in his seat, and not having any one to play with, so the redneck Momma that I am I decide he should play at Arby's.
We leave here and make it home with a SCREAMING baby because he is hungry, so first thing we feed him! Here are some of Trenton's new favorite foods:
Carrots - LOVES, but very messy; green beans, squash, sweet potatoes, bananas, peaches (not the favorite, but will eat). The only things he doesn't really like are applesauce and apples. Today he is trying yogurt for the first time..yummy!
It was a great trip to Nashville and Ansley gave me the best Mother's Day present. She had her blog "published" and it is so amazing to have all of Trenton's first moments in print and for me to cherish always. Thanks, Ansley!
Her nursery is coming along and I will let her share all the pictures. I promise she was there, but most of the pictures are of Trenton! I enjoyed seeing her and loved traveling with Trenton. I actually thought it would be a lot worse than it was.
Thank you to Wes's parents for keeping Baxter and my neighbors for getting our mail, paper, and watching the house (which includes chasing cats), and to my parents for helping me remain sane on Sunday. Most of all, thanks to Adam and Ansley for letting us invade their house! Trenton is changing daily, so more pictures to come soon...you know, he will be 6 months on Sunday!
Where is my picture?!
