So, it is official that Trenton's breathing problem is caused by his TE Fistula repair. We went to the doctor yesterday and four hours later we learned that Trenton will be having a procedure done. The doctor, who was amazing, thinks that the problem is a soft spot in his trachea. Dr. is "87%" (odd, right) sure that all Trenton will need is a stint; however, it could also be a cyst and in that case, the Dr. will laser it off. If it isn't either of those, it could be something that requires surgery. If this is the case, Dr. will take pictures, wake Trenton up and come talk to Wes and me before anything else happens.
Yesterday was an exciting day in the sense that there is hope for Trenton's breathing, but it is also a hard day because I was hopeful we would not have to go back into surgery (especially since we were not approved for assistance from the State..thanks, SC!) It will all be okay though. So, we are looking at June 3rd for a date of the procedure.
