Most of my readers are also readers of my sister's blog theboatmans.wordpress.com. Well, Ansley won't be blogging today or potentially tomorrow. She is in Nashville and things there are terrible. Well, today it is sunny and 85, but that doesn't make up for all the disaster they have been through.
Ansley lives in Bellevue which is one, if not the hardest hit area in Nashville. Amazingly, she (three included), Adam, and Beaty are fine. I am so grateful Adam is home because I cannot imagine Ansley going through this alone. In her neighborhood, many homes were lost. The streets I just visited a week ago are not mini rivers and unable to be driven down. There is not a good way to describe what all they have been through. Ansley and I spoke this morning and she said that there was no longer an exit to her house, that one (which was down a hill) is under water. I cannot imagine what the families in Nashville must be going through. We are all just grateful for the prayers that have been answered keeping all the Boatmans (Katy is up there too) safe. Our thoughts and prayers go out to those families that were not so fortunate. Please keep all of Nashville in your prayers.
