Trenton has been released and he is home with Daddy. He just got a bath and threw up on Daddy, but that is because Trenton does not want to pace himself when he eats and Daddy, although he has been thrown up on twice, has not learned that he has to pace Trenton. I am glad Trenton was home, but SHOCKED when they told me he couldn't go to daycare for a week.
Now, why was I shocked? I am not sure. Clearly we are not going back to daycare any time soon. I would love for us to have the luxury of a stay at home Mom or a Nanny, but the reality is Trenton is safe and sound and paid for at his daycare, but that just puts another issue on the plate with which I have to deal. Why is it surprising that you can no longer have a plan with a child? I thought it would be so much easier to have a plan...I could just map out the day and Trenton would fall in line with his carrier and stroller and we would have an amazing day, but NO! That isn't how it goes. I went back to work on January 11th. I worked Monday - all day, Tuesday - I worked until 3:30 - when I got the "call", Wednesday and Thursday - off, Friday- work all day, Monday - federal holiday. I told Heather today that I would show up when I am available....clearly kidding, but honestly, that is what it is comes down to.
I have been working since I found out the news about daycare to find people to help us next week. Monday Trenton goes back to the doctor, just to be looked at, I will take him. Tuesday, we are thinking it may be MeMe...please, MeME. Wednesday, Daddy will keep him, Thursday, Sir (grandpa) will keep him, and Friday he can go back to daycare! We are glad to know he will be back with his favorites at daycare soon.
Please keep our little man in your prayers! We appreciate every prayer! Thank you for everything...

Hi Sara! So glad Trenton made it through this! Yes, it's a true blessing to have family close by. What we would do without them! Thanks for you blog. It's such a wonderful thing! I hope to meet Trenton sooner than later but in the meantime this is great! Linda Winn
